Tod Tanner
Interim Pastor
Tod Tanner serves as the Executive Vice President at the Tennessee Baptist Foundation and interim pastor at Green Hill Baptist Church. He has degrees from Texas A&M University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served the local church for over 25 years and enjoys following the Lord’s calling to serve as interim pastor.

Donna is a PK (pastor’s kid) and spent her childhood years helping her family pioneer and grow churches in Great Britain, New York City, New Jersey, & Missouri. Donna began working in church music ministry as a student at Southwest Baptist University while studying Vocal Performance, Piano, and Music Education. She graduated from Belmont University in Nashville with a degree in Commercial Vocal Performance.
Donna’s first full year at Green Hill was 2019 and as we prepared for Easter, the Covid epidemic changed the way we did church overnight. Doing whatever it took to keep connected, she began Wednesday night Zooms, weekly video messages from the Pastor, and provided encouraging music videos with the help of our incredible music ministry members and media team.

Donna lives in Smyrna, TN with her husband Mike, son Nicholas, and their dog, Henry.
Mike Smith
Music/Media Associate
Mike is a native born Texan from Dallas with over 35 years experience in church music ministry and music publishing in both Texas and Tennessee. Mike has a BBA in Music Business from Belmont College (now Belmont University).
Serving at Green Hill Baptist since 2021, Mike is the Music Assistant, often co-directing the choir and also overseeing our Audio/Visual Ministry and team.
Mike’s life verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
